Pourquoi créer Asateer ?
Ayant grandi au Canada, j'ai adoré entendre parler de mythes et de légendes. Mais la plupart des histoires que j’ai entendues concernaient des dieux et des héros grecs et romains. J'aspirais à avoir davantage accès aux histoires et aux cultures vibrantes de mon propre pays - la Tunisie - et d'autres pays non occidentaux. C'est pourquoi j'ai créé Asateer !
Drawing loosely from my own adventures as an outdoor educator and travel guide, Noor explores the world and shares what she learns along the way. The photo of me with an iceberg captures a moment from my 2023 travels to Greenland and Nunavut. There, I created watercolor inks and paints using samples of rocks, soil, and kitchen scraps—an incredibly fun and rewarding project. Join me on this colorful journey as we discover the beauty and diversity of world mythology together!
